THE water level of the Zambezi River is constantly rising, reports Wild Horizons, and rafting is expected to close in the third week of February.
At present half-day rafting trips are available from rapid 11 to rapid 23. Clients are collected at approximately 07h30 and return to their hotel at 14h30.
“Rapid 16, known as Terminator 1 and 2, is the most exciting and challenging rapid at this time of the year and is classified a class 5 rapid,” says Clive Bradford, one of the directors of Wild Horizons.
